Founded by Dr. Jung Soon Chul in 2016 in Soho KL Solaris Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Jung Acupuncture Clinic specializes in the Samgakchimgi Method (Triangle Acupuncture), a technique refined over three generations. With over 20 years of expertise and training in Shanghai and Korea, Dr. Jung continues his family’s 100-year TCM legacy. Our clinic combines traditional Chinese and Korean medicine with modern technology, including body vibration machines, to promote rapid recovery. Dr. Jung is renowned for his skill in aiding post-surgery recovery and achieving results for patients who have struggled elsewhere. Our mission is to provide personalized care with honesty and compassion, aiming to restore holistic wellness and vitality.

Dr. Jung's Message

My journey from Korea to Shanghai and Malaysia reflects my dedication to holistic healing and innovation. As a third-generation TCM practitioner with over 20 years of experience, I specialize in the Samgakchimgi Method (Triangle Acupuncture), integrating traditional techniques with modern technology for rapid and effective recovery. My mission is to advance the field of TCM by training more qualified practitioners and sharing my knowledge gained from extensive research and case studies. I am committed to elevating TCM through teaching and community engagement, aiming to contribute to the future of holistic healthcare.

About Dr. Jung

Jung Soon Chul, born on April 13, 1971, in Jong-ro, Seoul, Republic of Korea, is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner. He is the descendant of Chung Min Hyeun (1930) and Lee Bok Sil (1947) and has two sisters: Chung Young Sun (1968) and Chung Young Hui (1977). He has a son named Jung Won Gyun (2005), the only heir of the JUNG family's 100-year-old body acupuncture legacy in three generations of traditional Chinese medicine.


His educational journey includes attending Gyeongseong High School in Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea, from 1987 to 1990. He pursued Chinese language studies at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China, from October 1992, and furthered his studies in physiology, physics, pathology, and anatomy at the same university from September 1993. He completed an intensive course in Chinese medicine from September 1994 to July 1995. In 2002, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chinese Medicine from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China.


Dr. Jung began his professional career in 1996 at Namsugu Hospital, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, focusing on herbal medicine, pharmacy, and research. He later served as an Internship Doctor at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital (September 1999 - July 2000) and as a Senior Doctor at Yong Hwa Hospital (January 2001 - December 2002). He then became Vice Chief Doctor at WONBODANG Chinese Clinic in Korea (February 2003 - March 2009) before becoming the partnering Chief Doctor at WOLGOK SODAM Chinese Clinic in Korea in 2009. Since October 2010, he has directed Korea Triangle CM Acupuncture Sdn Bh in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


Dr. Jung's contributions extend beyond clinical practice. He conducted extensive research on Triangular Needle Therapy, which has been published in various books. He actively engages in volunteer medical services and gives lectures on Triangular Plaster Therapy, emphasizing his commitment to community education. He holds several prestigious positions, including President of Korea Triangle Acupuncture Medical Conferences and President of Triangular Plaster Therapy Association.


In 2016, Dr. Jung was recognized as the outstanding representative of Korean Zheng's Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic in Malaysia and was invited to deliver a clinical lecture at the 2016 Korea International Integrated Medical Expo by the Ministry of Health in South Korea. Outside of work, Dr. Jung enjoys kendo and Weigi.


One notable achievement in Dr. Jung's career was his successful treatment of a medical doctor with severe skin allergies in 2013, showcasing his transformative approach to healing. Dr. Jung's heritage in Traditional Chinese Medicine, along with his dedication to advancing the field, has led him to Malaysia, where he is actively shaping the legacy of traditional acupuncture. He collaborates with Universiti Malaya to advocate for a lifelong learning center.
